Artikel Relative Clause

Relative clause atau Adjective clause adalah dependent clause yang berfungsi sebagai adjective dan menjelaskan tentang noun atau pronoun pada main clause dari kalimat yang terdiri dari indpendent clause  dan satu/lebih dependent clause. Relative clause diawali dengan kata penghubung who, whom, whose, which, that dimana masing-masing kata penghubung memiliki funsi yang berbeda yakni sebagai berikut:

• Who => Menerangkan orang sebagai subject
• Whom => Menerangkan orangs sebagai object (me, you, us, him, her, them, it)
• Whose => Menerangkan orang sebagai pemilik ( my, your, our, his, her, their, its)
• Which => Menerangkan benda sebagai subject maupun object 
• That => Menerangkan orang atau benda baik sebagai subject maupun object

Contoh :

1. The man whom you saw last night is my brother
2. The women whose car is antique works as a lecturer
3. It is the smartphone that i have dreamed for many months ago
